Celine is about 10 years old and was surrendered to CPL care because she wasn’t coping with the dog in her home.
Celine is shy but cuddly and will suit a quiet home with no other pets.
Celine’s ears have been trimmed to remove areas that had been sunburnt and showed signs of developing skin cancer (a common problem for white cats). The scars look a bit raw at the moment but will be less noticeable once they have faded and the hair grown back. Her new owner will need to limit her sun exposure or use a sunblock on her ears.
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. As they are less active they tend to spend more time indoors and are less likely to get lost or injured. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
