Pomeroy is about 12 years old (although he looks much younger) and came into CPL care when his owners moved overseas.
Pomeroy is a really big boy who is friendly, talkative and very loving. He used to enjoy sharing the bed with his owners at night, where we imagine he took up most of the space!
Pomeroy is fine with children and other cats, and has lived with a dog. Note that we would need to see how he responds to a particular dog before agreeing to an adoption.
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. As they are less active they tend to spend more time indoors and are less likely to get lost or injured. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
