Harold is about 9 years old and is a confident and friendly boy who enjoys human company.
Harold was surrendered because he was spraying indoors. Spraying is a stress-related behaviour and usually resolves quickly once the cat is away from the source of the stress. We haven’t noticed it recurring here at the cattery which is a good sign. However, this does mean he will be best suited to a calm, adult home with no other pets.
Harold is a little overweight at present and is on a diet (Royal Canin Satiety) to help him lose those “love handles”.
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
