Sparky is about 10 years old and was surrendered to CPL because his owner was too ill to continue with his care.
Big boy Sparky was very shy on arrival and took a while to settle but has blossomed into a loving and cheerful character. Best suited to a quiet home and patient new owner, he may be okay with polite children. He does not like dogs.
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. As they are less active they tend to spend more time indoors and are less likely to get lost or injured. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
