Thelma is about 3 years old and was very shy on arrival at the cattery. She has blossomed into a confident, affectionate cat who – once she has decided you are harmless – enjoys lap time and occasional rides on your shoulder.
Thelma’s owner was unable to continue with her care and she was surrendered with her 4 kittens, all now adopted. She was very defensive at first, hiding in her bed and growling at visitors, and she is still wary of strangers. She is also quick with her paws when you push her too far and will probably be happiest in a mature home with an experienced, patient new owner. She may take longer than usual to settle and does not like dogs.
