Smokey is about 7 years old and is very shy. A sweet boy, he chooses his friends with care, but once he trusts you he is gently affectionate. He will suit a quiet adult home and patient new owner.
While under our care he has developed glaucoma, a serious eye condition. This is now being treated with eye drops, which will need to be continued. He is doing well and is easy to medicate – however, as the condition is progressive and he will gradually lose his sight he will need to be an indoor-only pet. Our homing staff will be happy to discuss the commitment and practicality of having an “inside-only” pet .
Smokey came into CPL care because he was not coping in his household. He will suit a quiet adult home as the only pet and needs to be an indoor-only cat. His new owner will need to be patient and willing to spend a few appointments getting to know him at the cattery before adoption.
