Molly is about 11 years old and was surrendered to CPL because her owner was unable to continue with her care. She is a sweet nana cat who dribbles when content and is looking for a peaceful home in which to enjoy her twilight years.
Molly has arrythmia, a heart condition which requires no medication and has so far given her little trouble (she was fine under anaesthetic recently). This may continue to be the case but, as she continues to age, her heart might fail quite suddenly.
Adopting an older cat can be very rewarding and they make great companions. As they are less active they tend to spend more time indoors and are less likely to get lost or injured. They are particularly suitable for owners who are themselves less active and/or spend most of their time at home.
