Update from Leo!

He’s such a joy and has already bought so much to our home – we already can’t imagine our house without him. From the get-go he’s been reasonably settled and confident exploring the house. He’s very cuddly and affectionate in the evenings until the zoomies come out, which is when we play with him the most. He LOVES his new ping-pong balls and he races round with them. Most evenings he has curled up on the chair next to us on the couch. Tuesday night was the first night he’s been comfortable hopping up and sitting between us – such a cute moment. Since then he’s been up sitting in between us every night. In true cat fashion, we are now squeezed at each end of the couch while he stretches out. He’s super curious, but doesn’t push the boundaries if told he can’t do something or be somewhere. We have noticed overall that he just loves to be a part of whatever we’re doing. We do a lot of cooking and baking, and Leo was always trying to get up on the bench which we discouraged. We then realised it’s not so much for the food, he just wants to SEE what we’re doing. Pictures attached of our solution. We’ve adjusted well to having an indoor only cat and have adjusted a few things in the house to make this more comfortable for both Leo and ourselves.
